Bad news
There was a crow attack on our robin’s nest this weekend. The mama and daddy robin made a counter-attack and successfully shooed the crow into a nearby maple tree. I let out the dog, and she scared the crow away.
But during the week, I noticed the mama robin hasn’t been in her nest. I used my son’s iPod to take a pic inside, and the nest is empty. Fucking crows.
On the bright side, I’ve seen a pair of cardinals in the yard several times this week.

My neighbor just knocked a robin’s nest off the bend of their gutter, I was just watching her feed the babies this morning, now they’re lying dead on the sidewalk. Didn’t even clean them up. People are asshole too. :(
