Tell me about your phone!
Does anyone out there have a Samsung Galaxy S or Samsung Focus? My cell finally died, and I’m liking the big screens on these (rather than the iPhone). Is the battery life as bad as people say? What do you like/hate about it?
If you have something else you love, I want to hear about it (or just hear what it is)!

For better battery life, I’d go with the Nexus S. I got one and it’s got a lot of improvements in terms of management of the running apps.

I’m looking for a phone too. Deciding between the Dell Streak 5 or the Dell Venue. Both look great & got great reviews.

Know how to manage your running applications and see what is sucking your battery life. If you’re not using it, turn it off. I prefer to use mobile web over apps for Facebook/Twitter.

Battery life is the number one complaint of all smartphone users (I used to work at a Sprint call center). The key is to not be an idiot.

I have a Galaxy S and it’s awesome. It does everything really, REALLY FAST. PROS: Everything ever. CONS: Battery only lasts about 10 hours.

I lovw my HTC Evo!!! And I also love Sprint. They always come through for me. The screen is huge and my battery life is tolerable. It has cameras on the front AND the back which is nice for self portraits, plus it has an LED flash on the main cam.

I’ve LOVED my LG Optimus ever since I got it. I figured it out in no time, and it has plenty of great apps available. The one thing I wish it had was a flash for the camera, but it DOES take some great pics!

Wife loves her HTC Droid Incredible 2 (hearing wishy-washy reports of upgrading to 4G phones at this point). Me, I love my iPhone.

I have a Motorola Atrix (Droid) on AT&T. I am anti Apple. LOVE this phone - flat out amazing what they can do. Battery is only good for a day, but these little suckers work hard so you gotta feed ‘em regularly.

Plus, it’s Google, which I can assure you, in the Google v. Apple battle, is the good guy. (Also I like the interface and design better than iphone.) I can actually go on all day about why it’s better.

I have a Droid X & love it. It’s big & pricey, but it’s very good. The screen is great, the camera is outstanding, & there are tons of apps.

I had a Samsung Galaxy S, and HATED it. The battery was awful, I wasn’t the fan of the apps, and long story short, back to the iPhone now.

i love the LG Optimus series but the screen isn’t as big as a Galaxy or Focus. SORRY THAT IDDN’T REALLY HELP. lol

My wife had a Galaxy S and she loved it. With a few tweaks (leave bluetooth & GPS off when not in use) the battery will last all day.
